The Most Important Meal of the Day!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Doctors say that not only it boosts your energy and lets you start the day right, but also having breakfast has many other benefits such as helping you lose weight and preventing binge eating.
Breakfast typically shouldn’t be more than 400 calories. Don’t stick to one type of breakfast everyday, you deserve better!
Well, as much as I love oatmeal, today is about you being creative and different. So, no oatmeal in this list.
Here are some of my favorite breakfast ideas for you to get inspired and eat more healthy breakfasts.
1. Weetabix and Yogurt
Easy, yummy and you can be creative with it as much as you want. I prefer 3-4 spoons of yogurt, 2 slices of the Weetabix, 1 spoon of honey and whatever fruits I like to add. Of course my favorites are super sweet mangos and grapes.
2. Egg Omelet with Cheese
This is the one that I would never get bored of. Cook 2 omelet style eggs, add 2 slices of cheese and some small manakish. The last step is to enjoy this delicious filling breakfast.
3. Hard Boiled Egg with Cheese and Olives
A great, easy to do breakfast for you! It has all the necessary nutrition you need. 1 hard-boiled egg and a few slices of cheese with some olives.
Yes, fruits can be a great breakfast too. Make a bowl of your favorite fruits and enjoy it.
5. Corn Flakes (cereals)
Well, don’t get me wrong. I don’t suggest you to go to the supermarket and buy those colorful sugary cereals. No! Stay away, far away from these! I mean get yourself a good type of cereals or muesli with some dried fruits. Add some honey and milk on top and you’re done. Easy yet great breakfast.
6. Toast and Mozzarella Cheese
Oh yeah, this one here is a breakfast that makes you dream of it. One slice of toasted bread, one slice of mozzarella cheese, few slices of fresh tomato with some pesto sauce on top.
7. Stuffed Croissant
I would prefer to buy this one from a bakery here in Doha on the go. It’s easy, delicious and so fresh.
