Manti Traditional Turkish Ravioli
Well, the recipe is very dear to my heart and in my house, we make it a ritual to create this dish once a week at weekends, it is truly a dish you can do when you are in need of comfy food.
Benning from the middle east I used to cook this dish quite different, but lately, I started making it as the Turks do! And I found it very nice as well, and this what I will be doing with you today.
The world-known Manti.
This recipe is very easy once you prepare everything, so prep time will be around 7-10 minutes
Prepare Time: 20-25 Minutes
Cooking time: 15 Minutes
Serving: 4 people
400 g Frozen Manti bag
2 cloves garlic, very finely chopped
2 tablespoons salt
½ teaspoon of red pepper powder
¼ cup of olive oil
1 tablespoon of dried mint powder
Biol 1 liter of the water in a kettle, then pour Manti into the boiling water add salt. You need to let it boil for around 12-15 minutes, now in the meantime bring a bowl ad around one cup of yogurt or as you please, to it the 2 gloves of garlic grated.
For the sauce heat the oil in a pot and add the red pepper powder serve in a different bowl.
Once you finish the preparation and your Manti is cooked arrange the Manti in a serving bowl, start with 2 scoops of the Manti ( make sure to take some water with it), then add 2 tablespoons of yogurt mix, moving to the last step which is garnishing, serve 2 tablespoons of the sauce and sprinkle some dried mint on top.
