When You Can Wear The “KARAKOU”

Karakou is a woman’s embroidered jacket that originates from the city of Algiers (Algeria), usually worn with traditional feminine trousers “sarouel Mdouer” or “sarouel Echelqa” or in modern days with long skirts/pants.

You can wear karakou in special occasions such as:

  • Your wedding.
  • You best friend’s wedding, while walking next to the bride.
  • Family and friend gatherings to show your class.
  • Eid celebrations.
